These are cute, little, light to medium duty double ended clips made of a decent metal for a wide range of uses. The safe working limit of 40KG (88 lbs) might be optimistic if you drop that kind of weight on them regularly, but they could probably hang 50 lbs safely all day. I chose to put these on the small feed buckets I use for my miniature horses. They will probably work for several months, but I imagine they may corrode over time with outdoor usage.The snap function is strong, but they all came a bit stiff at the very bottom of the siding bolt. It does feel like it will stay up for the life of the clip. If you have moderate to severe weakness in your hands, the clip may be tough to push down.I would confidently clip things like water bottles, key rings, and gate latches with these clips. But I do expect them to bend when my ponies inevitably try to use the their buckets as body scratchers. On the plus side, that might save the bucket handles from being squished for a while. IYKYK, my fellow pony people. Pony is a four letter word, and there is yet to be a double ended snap they can't eventually damage.First picture is the bag they came in and my hand for size, and the second is a traditional double ended brass snap that I prefer for livestock use for comparison. One brass snap would cost about what this three pack does, so the three pack is a value pack.

Double snaps are a useful thing to keep around the barn. These are just a little stiff but still easily operated with one hand. Zinc is not a particularly strong metal but in lightweight applications these will do well.

I'm very pleased with these snaps. The satin finish looks nice and feels smooth in the hand. I smacked two of them together a number of times to see if the finish would flake off, and it still looks great on both pieces. The action is smooth without any catches or snags either opening or closing.

The bolt snap mechanism is super strong. It feels like it sticks a little, but once I worked the mechanism a bunch it loosened up. Because the snap mechanism is strong it won’t accidentally come undone. I like that. The color is a light gloss/light matte finish. I plan to use these with scuba gear so I will have to see how they hold up over time with water and salt. The finish feels thick and solid so they should hold up fine. Having the 3 pack was nice as I have a couple of uses planned out. Great quality item. Thanks!

Lots of uses for these clips. I keep them around as emergency repair clips for our dog leash, since our dog is a chewer.I like that they're more secure than carabiners--- there's no way you can release the clamp by biting down on it like our dog likes to do.It can also be operated with one hand.The bolt tends to bind a bit, but a squirt of bike lube or WD-40 fixed that.

I was able to use these snap hooks to fix a dog leash that had started to have trouble closing due to spring wear. It was a perfectly good leash other than the clasp issue so here comes these hooks to the rescue. The springs on these start a little stiff but are already losing up with daily use. They are strong and secure and exactly as described in the listing. All three hooks have been inspected for issues, and I have found none.
