Really really happy with this set. The drill bit itself is actually very good. Also pretty hard to find pcbs that are a fit for 1590a, you could sell these by themselves and that be great.

There is nothing wrong with the product, other than that it serves no purpose. It is physically impossible to fit any pedal into this enclosure. Seriously, an input jack, output jack, a switch, one mini- pot and a power jack completely fills the enclosure, which leaves no space for even the smallest PCB or point to point circuit. Save your time and money and an LOT of frustration and get a bigger one. It’s just too small to be useful.

I bought these to make devices with XLR in/out.The box itself is pretty cool, but I will be buying larger sizes from now on.To fit D series XLR connectors required filing down the ridge of the lid to get it to close, and even then you end up with the bolts/nuts jammed against the insides of the box.BUT that's not they're intended use. So, if you're looking to build a small guitar pedal they're great, but for balanced signal step up to a larger box

I use these boxes for most of my builds. They're a great alternative to Hammond enclosures. They're very well made, and the addition of the uni-bit and perfboad are a plus. Can't recommend enough.

Great bang for the buck. I use these for effects pedals. The step bit is marked with mm increments and a sticker chart is given that has recommended drill sizes for pedal components. Also comes with several small drill bits for drilling the project board.

I bought these to house some control circuits for some modular synth gear. Casting quality is fine, I especially like that the inside edges are smooth and not slotted (makes it easier to drill for jack sockets). The step bit is on par with other inexpensive step bits - it's fine for these aluminum boxes or plastic, I wouldn't try to drill steel with it. The included pad-per-hole prototyping boards were a nice bonus, quality seems fine. All in all, decent enclosures with some handy extras thrown in. Wish they offered similar packs in other sizes.
