In all honesty, I probably would not have bought these if I saw these in person. These are so flimsy and thin. They're also very small so if you're using these on large pieces of paper you will be moving them a lot. At least they do what they're suppose to do.

First of all, the set works to create textured edges to your paper crafts. That being said, here are a couple things you should know about this set: 1) It didn't come with 3 different rulers, but rather the same two + one extra. I wished I had the 3rd one for more variety. 2) the water pens unscrew BACKWARDS, with lefty tighty/righty loosey. I tried for the longest time to get them open, before my husband noticed that the threads on the screws were going the wrong way. 3) it takes a lot more water on the tear line than you'd think you need, so get it good and wet and then 4) pull strip up and TOWARDS the ruler, holding down the ruler firmly so that the edge of the ruler "cuts through" the wet paper along its jagged lines. The rulers are thin and very bendy, so you'll need to hold them down firmly as you tear. Big picture: it works, but only getting 4 designs instead of 6, and getting 3 water pens when all you need is one, is not a great value for the money.

This pack of edging scizzors have been a fun tool to use in my journaling and scrapbook spreads. They give my pages and scrap paper pieces a nice uniform distressed look on the edges. I have never used tools like thes3 before and now I'm hooked!

3 PCS 8.5x1Inch Metal Paper Tearing Ruler Irregular Edges with Water Brushes Ruler Deckle Edges Ruler Measuring Embossing Cutting Dies for Card Making Scrapbooking Craft DIY Cutting Dies ToolsFirst impressions: Nice thick metal rulers with irregular edges for tearing the edge of your watercolor paper to create a deckled edge. The water pens are the standard type and the rulers are sharp and ready to use with your paper.Installation/setup: Wet the edge of your watercolor paper and lay the ruler where you want the edge to be. Tear your paper, pressing down on the ruler to give a clean edge.Final thoughts: This works well on thick pages, leaving a nice edge. The paper looks more like handmade paper and really gives it a finished appearance. I like this and I’m glad I got it.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

These rulers work fine for what they are intended to do. They aren't long enough to completely tear the edge of a portrait style 8.5x11 inch piece of paper without having to do the process twice. So, keep your project in mine and look at the dimensions given. Also, be aware that they are not metal. Each ruler will work best on one piece of paper at a time. Also, the waterbrushes open in the opposite direction of how you normally take caps off.

This item is shorter than expected but will do the job. The metal is not as strong as expected but will do the job. Expect to tear only one piece of paper at a time. Each edge does produce a torn-edge look and is a great way to use up scrap paper for cards or scrap-booking. Each ruler has a hole at the top if case you want to keep them together (like keys on a key chain or measuring spoons on a handle).
