We used this for cousin it. I safety pinned 2 of the trims to one shirt, and then 1 to a felt hat so the costume is easy to take on and off. Everyone loved it. The strings are plastic and where it is sewn to the trim is pretty durable even with all the pulling we did. Good price, very functional. Has velcro if you did want to use it on a table.

"This was a total disappointment". Did not fit around my 9 foot banquet tables as described. I ordered several because I had several tables to decorate but was so disappointed when they didn't fit. I'll have to cut and sew two together, purchase, and add velcro strips to secure to table. If you don't want the added work of cutting and sewing or expense of purchasing more velcro, I would suggest not purchasing this product if your tables are 9' long.

It isn't one of those way off-colored plastic ones. The plastic looks just like paper, except a bit shiny. The flowers lesve a lit to be desired. But to decorate my cubicle at work, this worked fanrastic!
