This is a top quality set at a very reasonable price. The lanyard attachment permits the whistles and clicker to be "at the ready" during hikes and training sessions. So far, I have used the clicker mostly: quickly reinforcing my small dog's progression in picking up and holding a dumbbell in her mouth. The clicks allow quick, repetitive trials.I plan to employ the whistle for outdoor recall training. While she has mastered the command indoors, I am wanting to challenge her with outdoor distractions and at distances in which a hand signal may be less visible. The high pitched whistle could prove a deterrent for her loud barking at drive-through restaurant windows. Yet, I will wait until my dog trainer has time to full access her behavior before concluding that this would be helpful.
