I am 70 and have lost a lot of grip strength over the years. A couple of years ago a good friend (since passed) sent me a jar of raspberrycream honey. (Good thing honey lasts forever.) I tried all my other gizmos to try and open the jar. No luck. The lid was wider than most and smooth (no little ridges). I thought I would try this red cone thing a shot. It has ridges inside. At first I huffed and I puffed like before: and nothing happened. Then I stopped, relaxed and rather gently twisted the red cone on the lid. And I felt it slide open. Oh, how delicious was this raspberry honey with valerian tea (thetea tastes awful, that’s why I needed the honey.) I felt so happy to finally enjoy my friend’s thoughtful gift. And I recommend this package of jar openers, to all of us getting older but who want to remain independent.
