Purchased as a reaction flask for dyeing shirts and making soap. Nice, thick glass, very sturdy and able to withstand heat. The PTFE cap is also superior to quite a few of the other flasks you can find here on Amazon. However, for those with lab uses I would recommend using another vessel for magnetic stirring. The base is slightly convex which makes it difficult for the stirrer to engage the stir bar. Would have given 5 stars without this issue.

I definitely think this is a great deal. The product is great and it is definitely serving its purpose for many years to come. I highly recommend her customer service, they were quick to resolve a problem of mine, Bakker, to one of the bottles, at no fault of their own.

It is thick glass, the bottom in the inside is not flat but high in the center. The magnetic stirrer works to a decent speed. Will update after use, but for now does the job for reasonable cost. The 3 Flasks came very well packed in a Styrofoam cut out specialty designed for them.Update: I have now used these a few times, autoclave 3 times without difficulty.
