I am not certain if the LED bulbs I used were the problem or not, but this LED flasher with ground wire did not prevent me from having to add resistors to my circuit, which is what I was trying to avoid. As far as I can tell this flasher works no differently than the OEM aluminum can version already in my classic car. Perhaps this will solve other peoples blinker problems, but it did not work for me.

Had high hopes about this relay. Received it NO INSTRUCTIONS. Figured it out after a LOT of research. Worked great with the led signal lights front and back on my 61 Willys Station Wagon. Started the Wagon drove it to the house. Shut it off. Came back 10 or so minutes later and the whole wagon was dead electrically. Check everything, battery was good, power to ignition swatch was at 12 volts, turn on the ignition switch and NOTHING. Lot of testing for ground faults. Pulled the RELAY and viola the jeep was back operation correctly. Evidently the additional ground on the relay was killing the system..As far as I am concerned this relay it JUNK. Going to return it.

Redoing the wiring on a 1956 Willys CJ5 and ended up having to buy LED bulbs for my front turn signals. Had no choice, there was no amber bulb that I could find that fit the socket. I could have used one with offset pins that is readily available by filing off one of the pins, but I didn't want to. The Jeep came with a dealer installed SigFlare 900 turn signal switch but the wiring was mangled. I sorted it out, installed a new flasher relay and.... nothing. I knew I had created a hybrid circuit with standard bulbs and LED's and the flasher needs the load of filament bulbs to work. Stuck this one in, fastened the ground wire and had flashers on all 4 corners. Completely happy with it so far.Well, so far didn't last long. This flasher quit working after using it 5 times. It is now dead in the water, so to speak. So, it's possible it's a fluke, and I'm getting another. I'll return and edit this whole review if the new one fails immediately.
