My car's AC was on the fritz, and after some research, I found the culprit. Since I have a pair of snap ring pliers, I was able to replace the faulty unit and save a lot of money on labor. Having said that, the space in the engine bay where this unit is located is a bit tight and takes quite of bit of maneuvering the hands and pliers. If you have patience and small hands, you can do this in less than 30 minutes. I can now enjoy AC in my car again.
