It's less reflective and more neon. Think a bright red highlighter vs a stop sign. It's still bright and clearly visible, but not like a high visibility vest or jacket. Not sure I'd put this on a bike or scooter, maybe steps … I like the hexagonal design though, and it sticks well.

If you want to know what the quality of this tape is like...imagine the really thin, plasticky curling ribbon which is used to decorate gift boxes. It feels like it is literally the same material and shreds easily the same way.I bought this to put on my toddler's balance bike and while it did work in a fashion with some finagling, it did make me regret not investing in a wider width and brand name tape. The tape broke & shredded apart multiple times while unrolling it and attempting to put it on. This feels like dollar store quality.The colors are bright as pictured, so I am giving this two stars.
