The flat pieces are very thin rubber so they won't last forever, but I don't expect them to. There is just enough texture so that they grip well.The red cones are substantially thicker but I haven't had reason to use them yet.

Simple and cheap, these just do what they should - help you open just about any bottle or jar. And they last forever (or at least 5 years so far....)
