To start- there are no instructions. It's not rocket science, the layers are self explanatory, but there are 2 different size pillars so it's confusing at first - refer to the listing photo for placement. There are also extra holes, I can only assume those were for the lights. The acrylic shelves come with a protective plastic film; some of the pieces were tough to get a corner loose to start, but one you got a section to lift the film came off easy. The acrylic sheets were a good thickness and I didn't notice any marks or significant scratches. Do note that there is only 1 sheet of bubble wrap so I would suggest getting additional bubble wrap or something to put between the layers to prevent scratches when storing.Be careful opening the hardware bag - the little screws are tossed in a bag with the screwdriver and LED light kit.Overall, the tower isn't as stable as I think it could, or should, be. The base is the large acrylic sheet with only little bumper pads (4 included) to put underneath. Even on a flat tabletop, I was able to wobble the champagne stand a little. Enough to tip over? Probably not, but if it were at a location where it could be bumped, you might lose some glasses.Overall, the stand is fairly compact (given how much it holds) but that also means you need to be sure your glasses aren't over tall. Also, the glass needs to have a bowl shape to have the cutouts hold the glass stable. I had some tall columnar glasses that didn't fit, but some other cheap glasses worked perfectly. It's a nice idea, and with some tweaking (adding better feet) will probably help with the stability.

This will make a wonderful display rack, but it would have been much easier to put together with some instructions...it was simple enough for me, because I already own many different acrylic displays, but if you never put one together before it may be confusing for a minute!!! Also, the extra set of holes on each level didn't help, I guess those are for the string of fairy lights they send with it, although there is no photo or instructions to show you how they should be put on, just play and find out I guess!!! Other than that, it's just fine
