The set of gauges I received did not have an R410a scale on them, so that is sort of a big deal if you want them for house systems, unless your system is an ancient R22 system that you plan on keeping for some odd reason. You really need to plan on it being for vehicles that have R134a in them, which also is falling by the wayside. The ones I received do have a sightglass, so, honestly, these would be a great set to dedicate to reclaiming freon. With a sight glass on your reclamation setup, you can watch and see if debris, nasty stuff floats on by, to help you know what you might be facing inside those old freon lines, the existing condenser and coil, etc. For the price, this would be a a good extra diagnostic tool, and it would keep your regular set of gauges clean, so I did give them a 4. I would have rated them higher if they had been marketed for this, rather than as a usable set of gauges for the average hvac system.

Looks and feels well made and sturdy. Gauges clearly marked and looked well made. Connectors fitment tested - no issue - smooth turning when tightening or loosening. Pipes reasonably rigid yet flexible.

This Manifold Gauge is a decent tool in diagnosing and servicing air conditioning unit thatβs running with R-22 Freon. I like that It supports some newer refrigerant types including R134A and R410A.The design is user-friendly, with clear and easy-to-read pressure gauges that provide accurate readings. The color-coded dials are intuitive, making it easy to monitor the optimal range for low side and high side of the system. This comes especially helpful for someone whoβs new to HVAC practices, who may worry accidentally exposure to leaked Freon from unsafe handling of parts. The manifold gauge is sturdy and designed to handle at least of 250 psi of high side pressure with no issue when tested.Itβs reasonably priced at a friction of the cost of some well known gauges such as Yellow Jacket. At the same time, I want to mention that the caps on the high and low sides could use some reinforcement. The cap on the high side accidentally fell out when I picked it up for testing. It costed the needle to tilt, giving me an incorrect reading on the high side. I had to look for the cap and recalibrate the gauge so that it reads correctly. Other than that, everything went smoothly.Overall, this manifold gauge provides ease of use, performance, and affordability, making it a great choice for HVAC techs for servicing air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

This is perfect kit for the DIY guy or gal that wants to save themselves literally hundreds of dollars by charging their own AC systems. It has the high/low gauges and all the adaptors you need for virtually all AC units. If you're wondering how to do it, there's plenty of DIY videos out there. HVAC companies have gotten so ridiculous on their prices, even if you mess up the first time and waste a little freon, you'll probably still save money. Good luck!
