Solid little adapter. Plugged it into my generator, and it worked like a charm — powered up my fridge and a couple of lamps during a blackout. Feels sturdy, no weird loose connections or anything. Honestly, it’s exactly what I needed, no fuss.

Everything about this appears to be well made. It locks in tight to my generator and works as expected. My only potential complaint is that the cord is a little short. Considering the wire gauge it could be longer with no other changes though I suppose that would increase the cost. Overall it does what I need which is just to have a few more 120V outlets at the generator plus I'm getting an overall output of 30A rather than the 20A of the 2 outlets that are built-in.

This 30amp adapter plug is extremely well made. This thing is solid, but still pliable and easy to use. Great addition to your RV, boat, or generator setup. Bright yellow color is nice too for safety and ease of finding in a storage bin. Really handy to convert a single 30amp to 3 standard plugs.

Title and ASIN are included in the review because sometimes reviews get re-sorted and are no longer associated with the correct product.The HOZHEM Generator Adapter shipped quickly and was packaged reasonably in a padded envelope. Within the padded shipping envelope, the adapter arrived retail packaged in a cardboard box, and with this box the adapter ina recloseable clear plastic bag.I'm not sure what to say about the HOZHEM Generator Adapter. It's got a molded L5-30P on one end, the cable is a foot long, and there is a triple tap 5-15R/5-20R on the other end. I will use this adapter when power is out for an extended period of time. I can now use a single 10/3 L5-30 extension cable to bring power from my 3000W generator in the frond yard into the garage, then use this adapter to plug in the 5-20P plug on my 3000VA UPS, plus the kitchen and garage refrigerators. I will be using this adapter in a covered environment (probably in the garage) so I'm not too concerned about weather resistance. I did test fit the plug and all sockets, and everything was fine.

This is a good multi socket plug for the price. The 3 sockets make it convenient to use multiple cords or tools at once. I use it when I go shrimping on a pier and the conditions are rough on it. So far it's working great. I've bought more expensive single socket plugs in the past and they only last about 2 years with the wet conditions. This plug should last me just as long but for the price I will be happy it lasts this season.

I needed a very durable adapter to accomodate being outside for long periods of time. Though it will not make a water proof connection, I think this will be able to withstand being out in the open and a measured amount of sun exposure.

I have a shop full of these plugs and finally decided to start trying the less expensive varieties on Amazon. I should have done this a long time ago. The conductor where it enters the plug body is tight but I would NOT call it sealed. I would not use these around salt water but fresh water, like rain, should not be an issue. The 30 amp plug is of the style used in 90% of marinas but if you use this around salt water expect issues over the long term....even Marinco which is far more expensive has issues as well. You know it going in then the price for this is acceptable. This cord adapter is more for use on construction sites or in a dry environment if possible. It's a plug....it does what it's supposed to and worth having on my truck.

Using this to recharge power stations from a portable suitcase 4000w generator which has the l5-30r on the front.Works perfect.
