Oh, how marvelous! They arrived, packed into a heavy white box. They are 30 well-made, non-descript notebooks lined on both sides of the paper. They are each bound in a different color on the spine. There are about four of each color, and this means there is even a teal blue binding and a royal blue binding, for example. I absolutely love them, and can't decide what purposed to put them to. They would be great for teachers as prizes for creative writing. Perfect as travel journals. Small enough (about 4" x 6") and slender and light-weight enough to carry in a handbag. C Great for taking notes in a workshop or training program. For each child in a family to keep a diary. A food journal. Gifts to colleagues... Man, I'm super excited about these little notebooks!

These are really nice small notebooks and my kids love them! I like that they have different vibrant colors on the edges and good quality paper inside. They make great plant diaries, mini journals or more. I would get more of these for sure. They are the perfect size and they feel pretty durable. I like that the covers can be decorated and it’s a good value for what you get in my opinion.

Good notebook for taking notes at work. Would be good for teachers to give to students for journals. Some of the top notebooks had damaged corners and the binding tapes weren’t done great but all pages are secure. But overall they serve the purpose for organized notes at work.

These notebooks are pretty with their colored spines, but I was less than impressed by the quality. The covers are so thin that the corners crumple easily. I assumed at first that the bindings are sewn, like other kraft journals I’ve used, but they’re not. They’re glued, and cheaply glued at that, so pages come out with the slightest tug. The paper quality is okay. I tested it with pencil, ballpoint pen, gel pen, and permanent marker. (I don’t own a fountain pen, so sorry, fountain pen lovers, I can’t help you.) As you can see from the photos, ballpoint pen and gel pen were faintly visible on the other side of the page, but not to the extent that you can't write on the other side. Permanent marker left the back side of the page completely unusable, as permanent marker generally does, but it didn't bleed all the way through to the following page. If you fill up notebooks quickly and throw them away, these might be fine for your purpose, but don’t expect them to hold up to being carried around or handled roughly.
