Definitely not user friendly I tried several different anchors and they did not function like they are supposed to and didn't even go into the wall. The anchor themselves does not spread apart like shown in the image and it is a force just to get the screw inserted. For me these did not work the way they were designed to.

I hate hanging things on drywall, if only for the hassle of pre-drilling a hole & inserting an anchor. What can I say, I'm lazy lol and slightly more than occasionally, get all the way done with both holes, only to realize it's not level. Even more of a PITA, removing the anchors, patching at least one hole & then redoing all over again. I'm annoyed & exhausted just writing it out, ha!!These self drilling anchor screws are the way to go. No pilot drilling, no flimsy anchors to mash in & IMO, just as sturdy as the extra thick heavy-duty drywall anchors, due to how the anchor arms spread out as the screw goes in. Effectively, creating 3 separate, gripping "anchors" that share the load of whatever's going up on the wall. And in the more than occasional times I didn't get it level (unfortunately for me, a personal problem these screws can't help with) - there's still going to be a gap to patch but much quicker & easier than the alternative.Only thing I can see might cause hesitation for some is the price. The 30 pack is currently $10, which works out to $0.33 per screw. This is for sure higher than any mass cheap-o basic plastic anchors & screw sets. But when you factor in the time & hassle these are going to save you in both the short & long term, it's 100% validated IMO.If you're in the handy business or a weekend warrior, I absolutely recommend going with these all the way. You'll thank yourself after the 1st project, realizing how quick you sunk these in without ever needing to touch the chuck! :)))
