Just what your ordering works well helps catch the fine debris.

This pool sock is the greatest! It catches so much debris and keeps it from entering your filter. At first you will think it won’t fit, but it stretches easily and we actually pull it off and spray it clean each day, then put it back on. Not sure how long each one will last but we’ve been using the first one about a week and it’s still in good shape.

In the ten years that I have lived in a house with a pool, my area of Florida has not had the combination of explosive spring bloom with steady high winds that we had this year. As a result, a lot of organic material that was small enough to slip through my filter baskets clogged the impellers on my pool pumps, repeatedly. I decided to give these sleeves a try and was pleasantly surprised. I do not plan to use these year-round, but they really helped stop the acute and unusual problem that I described above. The sleeves fit over the baskets very tightly (they will not come off) and they hold up to a full week of duty without issue. You will need to keep a close eye on baskets equipped with these sleeves because they will fill to the point of clogging more quickly, but for me, that was more convenient that repeatedly unclogging pump impellers...

Good skimmer sock option. They're a little tighter to stretch than some other brands, but you can make them fit. The weave is denser than some other skimmer socks I've used, so it will catch more debris and sediment. The downside, of course, is that they will likely need to be swapped out more frequently. (In spring and fall I have to swap socks every day or every other day). But, swapping skimmer socks is easier and cheaper than backwashing filters, opening and spraying down filters, or replacing pool pumps. Best decision about pool care I've made is using skimmer socks. You just have to stay on top of them and make sure you're swapping them every day during high sediment/debris days.

These have literally been a lifesaver this spring with all of the oak pollen we have had. I was having ti dump them twice a day when the pollen first started falling. Sure has helped with keeping the pool a lot cleaner I feel! They are like putting pantyhose on a chubby toddler but I am doing it every day as I rinse them daily. Since I have the handles in my skimmers, I put on the outside of the basket and I haven’t had a single problem.

Fine mesh material and stretchy. I was really looking forward to using these but with my old pool skimmer, it’s quite a stretch to put on the basket and even more difficult to get the float inside the basket. The pack is a great value and it would be a big help to keep the filter clean.
