You can solder wires to them or use a scroll crimper.

I use these to make lightweight ham radio linked dipoles. They solder easy and make very good connections.

There's not much to say. They're sturdy, clean, and easy to solder. The male bit goes into the female bit, as expected.

Bought this for my RC cars. Makes it easy to remove and replace the motor. Also used them on my RC motor break in jig. Makes it easy to connect and disconnect the battery to the motor.

I was standardizing all my TENS cabling on 2mm pin connections and needed some connectors to retrofit some of my older stuff. This item had a ton of solder-type 2mm bullet connector pairs for an awesome price. They're really easy to solder since they heat evenly and take solder very well because of the gold plating. The barrel connectors work great with the included banana-type male pin connectors which have flexible bands that squeeze into the barrels very nicely. The barrel connectors will also hold smooth 2mm pins securely in place, but I found considerable variability in how well they will do this. The first connector I tried held firmly, but unfortunately I didn't notice until after assembly of a significant number of connections that some other connectors didn't hold as well (or in some cases, at all). This can be tweaked by carefully deforming the cylinder with pliers to create more of a mechanical connection but given the tolerances on these it's very easy to deform it too much and you'll end up replacing it anyway. If you need to use these connectors with smooth type pins you'll want to buy more than you need and select the barrels that fit best before you use them.
