I use them to secure opened bags of chips. They don’t open very wide so couldn’t use them on clothes rack.

These white coated wire clothespins were rusty. I bought them to hold silk accessories and I can't use them as the rust will cause stains, and I don't trust them to stay clean if I were to try and clean them. I am returning this item and searching for white plastic clothespins instead.

I was concerned that these clips would be a little too small to be very strong,but they're just fine for securing (food) bags, etc. I've used them for numerousother things as well--from securing curtains so they don't slide on the curtain rodto various office uses. Glad I bought them!

Nice tight clasp, keeps the bags closed tightly. Easy to open, even for my elderly mother with arthritis. Recommend!
