The worst. I didn’t read reviews till now 6 month later. I have a least 4 hours a head of me scratching these off of our desks. I typically get over this thing but these should not be used on my school desks

These adhesive pockets are impossible to remove at the end of the year. They leave a sticky film on desks.

These sleeves were durable (except for the “pickers”) mostly all last the school year. Cost was good compared to competitors , however, getting these sleeves off is a major undertaking! They don not come off of the desk easily, it’s like you need the jaws of life to get them off, along with Goo be Gone and a good razor.

I was hoping this would answer the problem of students destroyer their name plates the first week of school. It did. However, the students instead torn the plastic from this apart quickly. They tried shoving pencils in it for storage only making it look worse. The biggest time consuming messy came from trying to remove these from the desk. After a few weeks I decided on something differentand when I went to remove these they would not come off. You have to rip them apart leaving behind small pieces and the entire strip of heavy duty adhesive. I have tried several industrial adhesive removers on it and nothing worked. Finally, I bought a heat gun, a sharp metal scraper, and two cans of oven cleaner. After using the heat gun and scrapping off residue, I applied oven cleaner and let set for two or more hours. That worked but then desk needs an extreme cleaning to remove toxic chemicals so little ones can use the desk again. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

As a teacher in her tenth year of teaching, I am all about convenience and durability. I do not mind paying money for a good product. This was NOT a good product. The only thing that I can say about it, is that it was somewhat durable. It did last the entire school year.The sleeves were loose/bubbled/puffy like and not flush so the name tags were not clearly visible. This also made it more appealing for the students to want to pick and poke at them. The most frustrating part was the removal at the end of the school year. As we tried to pull them up, the sleeves did not pull up in one piece. They ripped and tore and the adhesive in the middle was so sticky that it could not be pulled up and had to be scraped. Our custodians usually are the ones who go around at the end of the year and clean the desks removing any remaining adhesive from the desks which usually does not take that long. This year they were so bad, I could not in my good conscience leave this horrendous mess for them as they have so much other work to do. My husband, son, and myself came to school with scrapers in hand and tried multiple solutions (Goo Gone, shave cream, hand sanitizer, glass cleaner, Dawn dish soap, etc... ) and a whole lot of elbow grease... IT took us almost 2 hours to remove the sleeves from 18 desks.

After ordering the wrong size the first time, these were just what I needed for my classroom! The stick on super well, are very easy to apply, and they have lasted a while!
