I film a lot of talking head interviews, and there's nothing I hate more than an exposed mic. The double sided backing adheres to the mic and the reusable cloth stretches over the mic to hide it with a skin/clothing color. Then the mic can be stuck to the subject's skin or clothing. You need to take off the foam, but these create a slight airgap and minimize clothing rustle. Sticking the mic to clothing, I've been able to reuse the same sticker for a few sessions without it getting lint-clogged. I love these things. They make a huge difference.
