Thing worked great for a bit then the primary exploded on my leg mid ride

Install was relatively easy, despite rather crude instructions. Only reason I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because it worked great… at first. With less than 5 miles on it… catastrophic failure occurred! While at cruising speed (so it’s workload and any stress being put on it at the time of failure was minimal, if any at all), I felt something strike my left leg while also hearing metal clanging against metal and pieces of the torque converter flying out (and thru) the plastic cover, all over the street. The front pulley literally broke apart and shot thru the cover, striking me in the leg. To be honest, I’m extremely lucky I wasn’t hurt any worse than I was (just some bruising), as pieces of that front pulley could very well have ripped my lower leg to shreds. Will be returning and buying a different (and perhaps higher rated/better reviewed) brand.
