Doesn't pump I could have just found any kind of old trash pump and made something better than this. I'm disgusted I sepnt like 60 bucks on this what a waste. Now I have to go out of my way to return it? Don't waste your time.

Arrived quickly and is exactly what was needed for my small metal frame kiddie pool. I paired it with a skimmer that attaches perfectly. It is quiet and works great, the pool water looks great.I hope that like it says it can be used for multiple seasons, even if not the price is right for even one season.

We have a small1300 gal above ground pool we set up, it was working just fine and we cleaned out the filter almost daily, but then the motor just gave out one day out of the blue, must be for VERY small pools

We bought a small above-ground pool for our grandkids at the start of Spring. I’m really the one who wanted the pool and my husband didn’t really care that much about it. I needed an easy way to keep the pool clean since I would be the one to play with our little kiddies and to keep them cool and entertained in the summer months up ahead. I wasn’t expecting much from a pump in this price range, but it was really all I could afford. I am very happy with how this small KimFilter 300 gallon per hour system is keeping my small pool clean.I’m not very good at putting things together but the directions were so easy to follow with a nice diagram to go off of. It was easy to see where all the hoses went and there is even a short video showing how it's all done. I had it all put together and up running in under 20 minutes. For a 300 GPH pump, the circulation is surprisingly strong. It moves water efficiently and keeps the surface from stagnating.What impressed me most was the small removable and reusable filter. It actually traps debris—everything from grass clippings to the fine dirt that gets tracked in by their little feet. After two days, I removed the cartridge to rinse it out, and it had already been capturing all kinds of stuff.The GFCI plug adds peace of mind, especially with my grandchildren around, and the pump itself runs quieter than I expected. It hums along without blocking our conversations.Pros:--Quick, hassle-free setup--Great suction for a 300 GPH unit--Filters out fine particles and visible debris--ETL certified and includes GFCI for safety--Runs quietly and reliably for long stretchesCons:--Filter needs frequent rinsing if the pool gets heavy use. This is just like any other filter of this kind but I wanted to bring it up.My Final Thoughts:If you’ve got a smaller pool and want to keep the water cleaner without spending a fortune, this pump is an excellent choice. It’s not oversized or overbuilt—it just works. Since my funds for a filter were very small, I’m really glad I gave it a shot.

This pool filter pump from KimFilter is really nice. I'm very happy with it! I did set it up a little unconventionally due to my pool design, but that didn't affect the function of the pump one bit. The pump is powerful enough to handle above ground pools, it keeps the pool nice and clean, and my favorite feature is that it has included GFCI for safety. This is so important when using electical appliances around water! This was also easy to assemble and start using, and not only that, but it's trivial to swap out the filter.The quality of construction has been perfectly acceptable so far. Even better is the noise level! I'm surprised at how quiet this thing is when it runs, it really doesn't intrude on the ambience of the area as much as I had feared it would.I'm very happy with this little pool filter!
