My father just bought a used pontoon boat and needed one of these. I gave it to him and he was able to hook it up easily with included instructions. It's a great safety item and works perfectly. Good quality and made well. Would recommend.

This is a well designed battery switch. Everything about it is rugged, from its case and mounting points to the switch itself, which moves with a solid "thunk" and with no play in its knob. I'll be using this in a saltwater environment so it appears that this switch is well built and adequately sealed from corrosion.

This seems to be a decent disconnect. Somewhat heavy-duty. I am not sure though that I would run anything close to 300A through it and am not likely to ever run it in a 48V system as they usually run a little higher than that. I think for a 36V system or lower, this would be a great choice though. Some little locator pins on the underside of the cover were broken from shipping but they do not affect the functionality thankfully.

I wanted a battery cutoff switch that can handle 150A and can be panel mounted, and this switch fits the bill. It is rated at 300A, and my max current will be under 150A so it should not heat up, and I measured that a 2.6" hole will allow the switch to fit thru for panel mounting, so I am good there too. I like that it is red plastic, making it easier to see and insulated. The price is good too making it a good value.

This has nice 3/8" lug bolts for connections that appear to be either chrome plated or stainless steel. I plan to use this for indoor use as a disconnect switch from a 48 V battery bank to a 3000 W inverter. It can also be mounted at 3 different depths, so that's also a plus. This does NOT come with bolts and nuts to install, which I will purchase separately, but does come with some very nice screws that most others may use. I am also using it at about half the rated load current of 300 Amps, but it does state that it can handle loads higher than 300 Amps for short duration's of time (say for inductive starting loads).

This is a clone of a blue seas m series switch - right down to the m logo on the dial. I have some concerns about how well a cheap knockoff will hold up over time but for now it is working as expected.

This is a better quality battery disconnect than my other one I purchased for the same price range. This feels well made and the bolts are made of good metal. The box itself is pretty heavy duty and it's easy to mount where it needs to be placed.
