I love how small these pins are. They slide in the fabric very easy with no friction. As someone who works on a million projects at once, I’m glad to have ordered as many as I did. Just be careful when ironing your fabrics, as the plastic balls may melt a bit lol.

I'm a quilter and I'm always in need of more pins. I'm pretty sure sewing gremlins run off with mine a few at a time when I'm not looking. The size of this set of pins is perfect for pinning my binding on. I like how sharp these are. I had no problems with any of them snagging a thread or refusing to go through the fabric. The glass ends stay on very well. I used all 300 as I was doing a Cal King quilt that went all the way to the floor of a very tall bed. I like how easy the pins went in and how easy they came out. Every now and then I'd not get one pulled soon enough and I'd end up hitting it with the sewing machine needle. The pins are strong enough that they just shoot out from under the needle rather than bending or getting stuff wrapped up in the feed dogs. I like that they didn't break my needles either. They're great quality pins and the asking price of $3.99 breaks down to 1.3 cents per pin. In my book that's a great value. These pins can be used for a number of projects so I appreciate the versatility of them. This set of pins gets a yes from me.

These are perfectly nice little pins with plastic heads. And with 300, that's pretty much a lifetime supply.I do a lot of sewing, and I have a variety of pins. Some are heavier quilt pins, which are longer and thicker. I have silk pins with glass heads which are much thinner and finer. And I have what I consider all-purpose pins, which are in-between. That's where these fall. The heads are smaller than my other all-purpose pins. That isn't a problem--their about the same as size as the heads on glass silk pins, I think. For anyone reading this who is interested in things like this, lol.The clear plastic boxes these come in seem like they close tightly enough on their own to stay closed, but I'm going to keep them in the package they arrived in.

I always try to keep extra packs of pins handy as when I get sewing, I don't have time to look for everything. I got these for my stash.BOXESThis comes in 3 different boxes of pins. They are just cheap plastic boxes with no hinge. They can be stored in a drawer for future use.HEADThe pin head is glass which is essential if you plan to press as you sew. They allow you to press without melting the pin heads.PINSThe pins are average length- these are not the same as quilting pins which are a bit longer for onger pinning areas. They work well for fine fabrics and if you go slowly, they work with thicker fabrics like duck or denim. They are sharp and somewhat fine so they don't leave holes in most fabric.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a nice set of pins that won't melt when you press as you sew.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. So far I am happy with these pins. They are really nice and serve the purpose. I will reserve thes for medium to finer fabrics, however, as the thicker ones might bend these more easily. They are also great for around corners being a bit shorter.

These pins work. It’s said they are stainless which is a plus. The points are sharp and they went throught layers of batik and fused silk without bending, but they might bend in heavier fabric and might not be long enough for thick jobs. The heads don’t melt when touched by a hot iron – YAY! They are shorter and thinner than pins I’ve had in the past and the heads are a bit small and hard to grab. So I’ll keep looking, but these do work.

These pins are pretty much as expected. The pins are about 1.25 inches long and of average thickness. It's not very thick, but strong enough that they don't get bent out of shape easily. The colors of the glass ball heads are cute and vibrant. Overall, these pins are decent, but pretty standard. What makes it stand out is that they are a good value. You get 3 packs of 100 pins each for a relatively low price.

These are basic straight pins for sewing. They’re good quality and you get three boxes which is nice. I do a lot of sewing and it’s good to have extra on hand. If you sew with a sewing machine, you know that you could go through a lot of pins due to the machine occasionally breaking them. The only thing I wish was better are the little boxes. They are closed with a label that you have to cut to open the box of pins, then they don’t snap shut. This is only a minor thing and I will probably put them in a box that snaps shut. I think these are a good value because I’ve paid this price for just one box of pins.
