My upper hose was faded gray and looked out of place even though it wasn't that old, decided to give this sleave a shot.Fits okay and easy to install.The ad make the red look a lot darker but its brighter red when installed, I was wanting a darker red like the ad showed so that's why I gave 4 stars.Nothing leaked but I did install black clamps all the same just so I'm not stranded somewhere with no coolant because I wanted to look cool.

My first time purchasing a "Hose Candy" item, and unfortunately, I'm extremely disappointed. The hose shrink clamps were absolute garbage. I've used these types of clamps in the past (Gates brand), so I know how how to apply them. The Hose Candy clamps simply did not hold (yes, they were properly sized, I'm not an idiot). I was installing a new radiator and had it out of the vehicle, so installing it could not have been any easier, but after installation, I could spin the radiator hose! Not acceptable!I've got a strong inclination that this garbage is manufactured in China, as there are no markings on the hoses at all. I cut the crappy sleeves off and purchased a set of Gates sleeves (which are made in the USA), and they worked perfectly.As a side note, the radiator hose "skin" looks ok, but it's a pretty cheap material. After I finished the install I still wasn't happy with the way everything looked ( the skin just looked cheap to me), so I ended up ditching the entire mess and purchased a colored silicone hose (which is what I should have done in the first place!).Anyway - save your hard-earned coin on this one. There are better options.

This is an awesome product. I'm doing a complete restore of my hugger orange 1970 Chevy C10 stepside truck. Very easy to install. Their install video was very helpful. I'm also installing hose skins on my heater hoses.
