Dowite 2 piece, 30ml(1.02 fl.oz) Synthetic Valve Oil Piston Oil & Tuning Slide Grease Oil (ASIN : B0DF31BZ35) We have a lot of brass in our house : trumpets, French horn, tuba, etc. Using real slide oil is a step up from the usual Vaseline. The piston oil was easy to use, as expected. The slide oil was a little thick, and it's hard to squeeze out of the bottle. A bigger nozzle might work better. The caps close tightly, so no leakage worries. In a baggie, just in case.

What it is: 1.02oz each of clear synthetic valve oil and red synthetic slide grease in dropper bottles.Why I like it: As a pro musician, good regular maintenance and products help my gear perform better and last longer. Some of my trumpets are more than 70 years old, and aside from some patina, they perform as new. Quality oil and grease prevents wear and corrosion, and doesn’t break down. This oil and grease is odorless, and is of the correct viscosity to perform as a valve oil, and the grease is of the correct viscosity to hold up on tuning and valve slides. The dropper bottles make it easy for pinpoint application. We’ll see how it holds up long-term. Overall, a very good set of oil and grease for your brass instrument.
