These 4" heavy duty carabiners branded by ASMJMJ are great value for 30 pieces of 8mm galvanized steel hooks. I've used carabiners of many sizes and these are typical in design and feature a strong gate spring and smooth operation. These are sometimes described as snap hooks but on researching the difference, these are more carabiner-like by design. These are not stainless but depending on your application, the zinc galvanized coating still offers good corrosion resistance. The measurements are a slightly under those given in the product photos being closer to 3.9" long by 1.85" wide with a 5/8" open gap. I have not tested the working load rating up to 770lbs but others of a similar size appear to have similar or greater working load ratings. For most of my uses, these will be more than adequate and at $26.99 for 30 hooks, these get 5 stars.
