These are excellent but not necessarily for the expected purpose. I use them as a clamp for external Christmas lights, they are nondestructive and reusable. They clamp onto the edge of a canopy over a bay window. They would also work on gutters but the standard clips are usually adequate for that.

The design is very poor two days of having it on my tarp with the wind going up and down it rips the tarps not a fan

I like that you can tighten the grip on these with a twist rather than having to push up on the clip and hope you have got it tight enough. Using it to secure curtains on a gazebo canopy in the cold and windy months. Clipped to bottom of curtain and then used the shock cord and hinged clip to secure it to steaks in the ground. I have a pipe in the curtain and the shock cord with bead also secures nicely around that and the ground steak. Very pleased with this product and it's many uses.

We installed these clips late last fall. It is now mid March and they are still holding! They secured a table cover. That cover protects six high back chairs and a table. We live in downstate Illinois. The clips and cover survived snow, rain, ice, and several storms with 45 mph+ winds. They were much easier to install than the clips provided by the cover manufacturer. They also performed much better. I'm very pleased with this product!

Purchased these to put up shade netting over our patio. Couldn't be happier. These are sturdy, and ridiculously easy to use. Having a couple of different options to anchor was very handy also. I could actually attach the clip to the netting, opening and closing it, with one hand while holding the material in the other. Made job very simple. Clips have held on through some pretty rough weather so far. Would order again.

They seem to work great as a tie down for my grill cover. I may update to a better review after I see they will last. Seems good for the price overall I put them through a few test and they held on very well, tore my tarp but they didn't let loose. So they would hold Sturdy in a wind storm in my opinion.
