As I said, I was totally surprised by the quality of the metal in the chain and the hooks. Would definitely buy it again.

I have several of these on the farm and are great for securing gates. Very strong and the length is great. I do use them for securing trailers also. Good value.

Review: AYMMIC 3/16'' x 48''Trailer Safety Chain with 2 Latches S Hook,2,000Lbs Capacity,G30,Secures Tow Vehicle to Trailer, for RV, Trailer, Truck, and Boat TowingOne chain was long enough and worked out perfectly for me to replace the safety chains on my utility trailer. The old chains were rusty and worn down from someone dragging them (probably more than once). I’ve loaned the trailer to different friends and family members over the years and some things just get forgotten when you tell them how to hook it up and to twist the chains once or twice if they need to keep from dragging, so it happens. Anyway, it definitely was time for some new ones. The old ‘set’ of chains was actually one chain with the middle link welded to the trailer tongue. This new replacement chain was virtually identical to it but I’m not a welder so I simply cut the old links that were closest to the welded link. Then I cut the middle link of the new chain and used quick links to connect them to the link welded to the tongue. Sound complicated but was actually quite simple. The new chains look and work great.
