When I purchased my home my oven only came with one oven rack. I am one that loves to cook so I knew I was going to need another one. I am so glad that I purchased this despite the reviews. We just got a new range and my husband fired it up without realizing the instruction Manuels were still inside which resulted in melted plastic all over one of our racks. After checking with the big box stores and seeing they were charging close to $100 I found this one! It fits perfectly and looks identical to the original rack!

I was concerned because it seemed it might be a bit too large because my model number was not listed (20 year old oven) but I was willing to the chance and it fit just right. I "lost" a rack about 10 years ago and finally just bit the bullet and bought a new one. Fridgidaire wanted to charge me for double the price for just 1 and I got 2 here. I'm happy.

My son had a lapse in thinking and put his pizza into the oven, while it was still on a plastic cutting board. Let's just say that the oven won. The cutting board and the oven racks, not so much. After much scraping and elbow grease I managed to get the bottom of the oven cleaned, but there was no saving the racks.There really isn't much to say about these racks, except that they fit and they work.

The product specifications state 24.2"x16" but it is in fact SHORTER. 24.2" x 15.3" is what they sent me, it won't even fit in the oven, falls right off.
