Works great and for a fraction of the price of the big brands. You will still need either chlorine or bromine as your maintenance sanitizer. This is a highly effective product for shock and at a great price.

I have just started using this shock in my hot tub. So far it has performed well as weekly routine maintenance. My water is clear, not excessively foamy and after 15 minutes I'm the water with the jets on u can enter the hot tub for use.

Great product! I have an above ground spa that I have nurtured for the last 17 years. It runs like a champ when used. Recently I noticed yellowing of the water. I immediately put in an above-normal amount of chlorinating granules to correct the issue. Next day, I still saw some yellowing. So I bought this product, used it the other day and my spa water is now crystal clear! Amazing results! Great price also!
