My daughter is really into wall climbing, to the point where she wanted me to help her build a training/systems wall. It’s just that the hardware can be so expensive. As this is just for a training wall, this set of holds is ideal for her. Given there are 32 holds, there are plenty of options to use, and the ease of putting them in and removing them makes it easy to change things up when it gets stale. They are kids holds, so are not rocklike textured like the holds you’ll find in climbing gyms, but for a systems/training wall, they are more than fine. Good price for that many too.

+ strong and sturdy construction+ vivid, playful colors. Variety of shapes and sizes, perfect for a variety of ages+ includes installation hardware. Relatively easy to install-- the neon pink/fuchsia is just too much and feels out of place- textured surface, BUT still relatively slippery- no extras for hardware (hope you don't lose any)Generally, a decent kit of rocks for a DIY rock-climbing wall. The rocks feel sturdy enough to last a while, but they're a wee bit too slippery. They do not feel like the pro ones you see at legit gyms, but they should be good enough for kids just playing around.I had a major problem with the utra pink stone because it's basically neon pink and looks totally out of place. My other issue was the hardware that, although it's a decent quality, you only get the EXACT amount of everything required. So if you lose something, you'll frustatingly now have to make a trip to the hardware store.FYI the screws are about 10mm diameter and slightly under 40mm length (threaded part). Just dimensions to consider for your project. They should work fine on a 1/2" board, maybe even 1" thick.

Great set of climbing rocks, pretty much just like the ones which come with the expensive backyard play sets. Nicely sized for kids, as opposed to adult sized grips, but would also probably be suitable for use as smaller adult grips.Materials and finish seem to be good, don't seem overly cheap or anything. Everything included for typical installations, aside from a drill.

What a fantastic set!These holds look virtually identical to the ones they sell in the outdoor store that specializes in rock climbing and other mountaineering. Smooth, comfortable, no sharp edges for little (or even big) hands.The hardware it comes with is very solid, though the bolts are a little short - another 1/4" to 1/2" would have been ideal, but are not really a problem.Easily installed and customizable into any configuration you would want.Colourful and fun, and honestly, exactly the kind of thing I think kids should be doing outdoors - lots of physical activity to tire them out!!Great set.

I should've looked at the images more closely... as I was surprised by how 'slippery'/shiny these look. I thought that they'd have a bit more texture/grip to them, given that they're for climbing AND children. We'll put them to good use, I was just a bit disappointed by the texture. They're nice and brightly coloured. There's a good number of holds in this kit, especially for the price.

These rocks for a rock wall are very easy and straightforward to install. I didn’t realize that the screws came with a nut that goes on the back. I planned to screw these into our tree for easy climbing. Ended up just getting new screws to make it work.

This was an awesome buy for my kids! They were super easy to install, and the instructions were crystal clear. My husband set them up in the kids' indoor playroom, mounting them on a 2-inch-thick wooden board. The kids absolutely love it—it’s been a total hit!
