I have an old car that is in need of new brakes lines and I got this kit to help me begin the process.It's 3/16" in diameter and made of a zinc coated alloy and has rust corrosion protection, which I assume is the advertised "copper coating". It's easily bendable and ends can be flared using a brake tool kit. It also comes with a number of brake line fittings including:-6 unions-22 3/16 " 3/8-24 thread nuts-2 3/16 " 7/16-24 thread nuts-2 3/16 " 1/2-20 thread nuts-2 3/16 " 9/16-18 thread nutsWhen building the lines it's important to triple check the fittings before inserting them on the lines since there are a variety of thread sizes included in the kit. My picture shows the fitting on backwards! Quality seems very good and I'm looking forward to working on this project.Bottom Line: Convenient brake line kit with hardware that is of good quality. Additional fittings may need to be purchased depending on your particular brake line needs.

The quality is pretty much the same as I've gotten from Advanced Auto Parts but the price is much lower. The fittings are good with ten of the popular 3/8 24 size plus two each of three other sizes. You can't beat the price for 32 feet of line so the fittings are just a bonus. This is Steel brake line not Nickel-copper alloy. It's still good and is not hard to bend or flare and I've always undercoated lines after I install them so they last a long time. Steel is stronger than Nickel-copper alloy but does rust but your car came with steel lines so they last a good long time probably longer than the old car you're installing them on.

NOT Nickle Copper brake line as false advertised – RETURNEDI wish I could give less than a 1 Star Rating point because of the false advertising in the website description. An accurate product description is absolutely mandatory so that you know exactly what you are buying. One of the photographs falsely claims that this brake line is the superior Copper Nickle alloy type. The brake line IS NOT the real Copper Nickle type of brake line. The brake line I received is standard steel brake line. Real Copper Nickle brake line is superior for many reasons: it bends easily without kinking, it is easy to make a perfect inverted flare, and it is highly corrosion resistant on the outside and ON THE INSIDE. I returned this inferior type of brake line.

I like having these fittings and unions, I will eventually use them in my line of automotive work. I was a little thrown off by seeing the roll of brake line in the photo of the product. This set includes only the threaded fittings, you will have to purchase a roll of brake line separately. Otherwise, quality seems to be good.
