installed this in my boat retrofitting a hardwired inverter into the existing AC circuit. I used this switch to switch between 30 amp Shore Power and a 2000 watt sine wave Inverter. Had to do a bit of secondary engineering as this is designed to mount in a (thin) metal panel. I had to mount it in 3/4" teak plywood. Longer screws and a custom outer panel did the trick. It looks great and switches nicely between the two sources. Great value. I'm very happy.
