So I gave one a try. The smell is a little strong to start and then softens/lessens as time goes on.It doesn't work right away, however within five minutes you start to notice a difference.I haven't remembered to put one on when I go to the barn so I don't know yet how well it works for those nasty no-see-ums biting flies.It does work quicker for mosquitoes than house flies although eventually the house flies will leave too.They do the job.A word of caution, if you are sensitive to fragrant smells, you may want to make sure you're good with it before you put the band off. It smells like those citronella mosquito plants. It doesn't leave any oils or any type of irritation on your skin.I'm allergic to some standard natural mosquito repellent plants so I read the ingredients befor ordering.Definitely something I plan to keep in stock so I have them for chores and entertaining outside.

These bracelets work really well. My twin girls and I wear one when we're going to be outside for more than a few minutes and they really help keep the mosquitos away from us. Sometimes we'll put one on each wrist or one on a wrist and one on an ankle. I love that they last for hours. We put them back in the individual zip lock bags each comes in and we use them over and over. The pack should last us awhile! I would definitely recommend these and I will be purchasing more when we need them.

Nice sized supply in multiple colors. Individually packaged for portability. Being chemical free is a definite plus. I don't want to wish mosquito season early so I have yet to find out if they really work but I will update if I find they don't.

It took an entire month to get these. Not sure why, so therefore a 4 star rating. I ordered these because they are a natural plant based oil repellent versus a chemical base. We live in the south and mosquitoes have been vicious this year. You get 33 in a pack here so we will see how long lasting they are, they are supposed to be water resistant, so we will see.

These are a fantastic alternative to using spray and so easy to put on and go. The smell is very strong even before you open the package you can smell them already. They so far seem to be working fantastic as the skeeters just started in our area. The only downfall is your wrist will smell like the bracelet even after removal and after using soap. It is quite strong and anything it touches will also get that residual smell. So far, still worth it for me!

They fit me without any problems. I even use them as a hair tie since it helps keep mosquitoes away from my face. It seems to work so I’ll keep using it like that.

These are perfect for a large camping family! We’ve found that they work best with one on a wrist and one on an ankle, for total coverage. The coils are nice and loose, so they don’t bind, pinch, or leave marks on your skin. These come in resealable bags, so they can be stored and reused later! Perks are, every member of the family can have their own color and never have to worry about who they belong to. Be prepared, though- while you don’t have to spray bug spray on yourself, you WILL smell like citronella while you’re wearing them, and they will leave a residual citronella smell on your skin.

We get these regularly and like them a lot. They are not a replacement for a full body spray if you are camping or going for a long hike in the woods, but they are perfect if you are going for a walk or just out in the yard for a bit and don't want to cover yourself in a spray.We in particular like them for our daughter since we can put them on her stroller rather than her and have a bit of separation from the chemicals.The ziplock style bag is also very nice since it is not use it or lose it once you open one and they do last a good while if you put them away when you are finished using them.
