I ordered this for my Roomba 960 that is six and a half years old. It still ran, but, had to pause to recharge, often.Lcenerga 3300mAh for iRobot Roomba Replacement Parts Roomba Lithium Ion Battery - Compatible with Roomba 980 960 895 890 860 695 680 690 675 640 614 Series 1800Li Xlife 14.4VThis 3300mAh battery has almost twice the capacity of the original1800mAh from IROBOT. It fit like a glove. As per the included instructions, I easily installed the new battery, along with one of the included side brushes, using the screw driver that also came with the battery and placed it on the charger. As expected (as per the instructions,) it didn't activate for about three to four minutes. I had to reset the Roomba on it's charger two or three times during this activation time. I then let it charge for a few hours. Next, I had to redo wireless to reconnect to the IROBOT App . I ran a cleaning cycle (clean everywhere, two pass and ignore full bin,) even though my Roomba 960 was only showing about 2/3 charged. Even on the first run, after only a few hours charging, the difference was glaringly obvious! The vacuum sounded soo much better...stronger/faster. I guess the old battery was worse than I had thought.I'll try to update this review at a latter date as I'm unable to speak on my experience with the battery durability and life at this time. I find that, sometimes, Roombas take some time to adapt to a new battery (I don't know on the 960, but my 300, 500, and 600 series had that quirk.)Based on what I can see and feel, I think that this battery will hold up just fine...only time will tell...then I'll tell y'all.

This battery is a replacement for my 600 series Roomba. The Roomba was still cleaning well but the battery would fizzle out during the cleaning cycle preventing the Roomba from getting back to the charging base. It was always a game of hide and seek to figure out where the darn thing was in the house. lolInstalling this new battery couldn’t have been easier. I put the Roomba on the charger at 7 pm and it was ready to go on its daily schedule at 6:45 am the next morning.Very pleased that this battery did the trick! The battery works great, and the Roomba now returns to the base and doesn’t “die” partway through cleaning.Highly recommended if your older Roomba’s battery won’t fully charge anymore.

I've got an old 600-series Roomba that stopped charging recently. I saw this battery and thought I'd give it a try.It was easy to install:1. Remove the rotating side brush2. Unscrew the 4 screws on the bottom cover. Note: they don't come all the way out, they just need to be sufficiently loosened3. Remove the bottom cover4. Find the battery and lift it out using the 2 cloth tabs on the sides5. Put the new battery in place6. Screw the bottom cover and side brush back on7. Charge the Roomba overnightThe only weird thing about this battery is that Roomba will start charging, chime, stop charging, restart charging while chiming repeating this process multiple times before it starts charging in earnest.

I hadn't noticed the 2 replacement brushes in the picture on this product page, so it was a nice surprise to open the battery box and discover them. I had to remove the brush on my Roomba 620 to gain access to the battery compartment, and you never know if/when brush replacement is necessary.By the way, the tiny complementary screwdriver also included didn't make it past the first turn of the first screw. The handle broke, as you can see in the accompanying picture. It's the thought that counts, right?I'm replacing another brand's replacement battery that I ordered and installed last year. I have several other Roomba's, so the 620 has been regularly charged and lightly used. I'm hoping for better results from this one from LCenerga, which offers a hassle-free experience with a 30-day return/exchange policy and 12-month warranty. Customer service support is available 24 hours a day. So, if I need them...This LCenerga 3300mAh Li-ion battery is designed for iRobot's Roomba 900 800 700 600 500 R3 Series. The specific models are listed on this page. Since we're dealing with Li-ion, I appreciate that the battery is UL/CE/FCC/RoHS-certified.
