My guess is this product itself is probably fine, but the sizing chart was a bit confusing and the pair that I ordered was for a toddler. Just be careful when ordering and be sure to be very clear on what size you need and are choosing.

These are much thinner than the cotton ones, but I think they are just as warm and probably won't pile.
