This filter / desiccant dryer removes water, oil and humidity from compressed air. The desiccant bead dryer will remove water and humidity in the compressed air. These desiccant beads change color from blue to a light pink when they are saturated and need to be changed. This has a heavy duty aluminum quick release bowl for easy maintenance that provides easy viewing for contents as well as impact protection. hard to reattach bowl when its filled with silica beads and the filter screen mesh easily dislodges from its place leaving you unprotected.

Unit in conjunction with dryer is cumbersome stuff to install for a disabled person. Looks well constructed.

Thing is corroded beyond belief in less then a year and is falling apart ! I suggest against buying absolute garbage
