We bought this to replace a broken flow meter. It looked similar to the one we had, so I was hoping it would work, and it does. I like the fact that it doesn't have the wires on it that many similar models have. Apparently everyone wants to hook them up electronically to be read by the computer. That would be one more thing I'd have to figure out how to set up. I'm happy I found one that I can just go read--I'm old-school, what can I say?Anyway, it cost a lot less than the ones that are set up to read online, and it also doesn't have the annoying wires on the glass face, making the dial much harder to view.
