The two bushings received are flawless. Excellent manufacturing quality control, and clearly stainless steel. The NPT threads are properly cut with no shavings or distortions in the threads.I find these bushings (adaptors to me) invaluable for when a run of 3/4 inch water pipe needs to step down to 1/2 inch. Reducer couplings do the trick for a male to male connection but these can be better in tight spots for a female to male.These can be great as well for stepping 3/4 inch pipe down to a 1/2 inch bibb for a garden hose. Perfect, compact and clean looking. Another benefit is the hex portion so instead of mangling with a pipe wrench a regular wrench can be used.Currently a pair of these costs $4.40 per unit. Even for stainless that might be slightly high but not enough for me to reduce my five star rating on this very well made product.
