I bought this about a year ago. I had problems with my old one leaking water in the creek when it got cold. This one worked perfect. Only thing I wish it had was a water height adjustment.

Este producto funciona perfectamente para parar el agua cuando estas llenando un deposito, puedes comprarlo el que se pone en el lateral, o el que se pone arriba, yo he comprado los dos, y los dos dan buen resultado. Mucho mejor que el tipico flotador con varilla, el cual es mas engorroso, ocupa mas espacio y tienes que ponerlo de tal manera que el flotador no te entorpezca. Con este no necesitas flotador ni nada, es simplemente una valvula tal cual aparece en la foto y hace la misma funcion que una varilla con flotador, ocupa menos espacio, y se pone mas comodamente. Lo recomiendo.

I replaced the super cheap flimsy 90 degree fitting with a cpvc fitting using the provided tape. As it is filling it makes a good bit of noise that distracts from my water feature ( babbling} brook, but that was easily fixed by adding a short down pipe section to discharge under water. Works perfectly so far. Small size is great to easily hide with an overhanging plant,

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU WANT A FLOOD AND MORE COSTS!!!!!!! The picture is the line I built with brass fittings and pex right after I removed it. It is still sitting in flood water.

I bought this unit to use on an aquarium sump that I put together myself. I had an issue with it overflowing, as I couldn't get both pumps equalized in flow. This solved my problem nicely.Works well and is a necessary part of my sump unit, five stars, and would definitely buy it again.
