I use this stuff to lash down all sorts of different loads from stacks of 2x4s and sheets of plywood. It’s particularly handy when a ratchet strap is too bulky for the item being secured. I use it without a tensioner—I simply wrap one end around a short length of 1 X 2 trim which gives me plenty of pull force to get it tight enough for my purposes. When I’m done, I cut the strap and save the buckle for reuse.
