It is a piece of junk the cap gets stuck on the tank and rubber inside the cap fall off into the tank it dissolve in the gasoline, what was left was a piece of plastic that I had to pull out of the tank.

Purchased to replace a 40 year old tank on an HM100. The tank itself seems fine. I purchased this one because it had a vented gas cap. The cap seems okay but the rubber seal inside the cap melted into a sticky mess after being exposed to fuel. Removed the seal and replaced with a rubber o-ring.

The rubber vent in gas cap turned to goo. The gas cap won't screw back on. Also only used it once. Very dissatisfied with the fact it's a gas tank and won't tolerate gas being used in it!

Cap seal disintegrated when contacted by gasoline. Now my new carb is fouled with melted gasket residue. Who sells a gas tank that has parts incompatible with gas? Do Not Buy.
