Easy to use to repair your thread. My situation was a stripped thread in my spark plug hole of my GY6 150cc scooter. After the repair the spark plug seated better than ever before. I did have to take about 3 rows of threads off the insert so it wouldn't hang down in the cylinder. The threads in the head went as long as the insert. Will buy this brand if I need another size or repair inserts. Jus lt buy it

I had a stripped brake pin on the rear caliper of my Triumph Bonneville (2015 mag wheel). I drilled out the stuck pin using several smaller bits I already had, then finished the job with the drill bit included in this set. The included tap cut perfect new threads like butter. Work slowly, using cutting fluid, in a back and forth manner.The I had to finagle the thread insert tool a little bit because of the tight space, but I got the insert in with perfect results. This was my first time ever using a thread repair kit and the results were perfect. Can't recommend this kit any higher!

I did a bonehead move & stripped the thread for the banjo fitting bolt to one of my (brand new) rear calipers while trying to install the caliper on the car. It was getting dark, the mosquitoes were getting aggressive and instead of calling it a day, I tried to finish the job quickly. Having just bought the calipers, I wasn't motivated to spend even more money to order another caliper without without first trying to fix the stripped thread. So I tried to find a 10mm-1.0 pitch thread repair kit everywhere within a 30 mile radius, but nobody had one. Lots of 10mm-1.5, but no 10mm-1.0. So I accepted that I would have to wait and ordered this kit thru Amazon. Delivery was fast - less than 48 hours. Top quality drill and tap & install tools included in the kit. The repair went better than expected and since the kit came with 15 inserts, I can go to sleep comforted by the knowledge that I can strip the threads out in 14 more calipers before I need to get another kit! The quality of the tools in the kit became apparent when cutting pilot hole & threads in the cast steel caliper. Excellent value for what you get.

this is the exact tool I needed to repair threads on the fuel distributor in my wife's Mercedes, I was pleasantly surprised on the delivery date. the page left me with the impression that I would not get this item before the 3rd of Dec. It arrived on the 13th of Nov. thank you so much for the speedy delivery. I almost by passed this one because of the long span of time before I could get it. I suggest you fix that you might get a better sales number. I was very happy with the quality of the tool when I opened the box and the box is great for storage, others that have come in plastic bags do not hold up forcing me to create a special holding box for each one. thank you again on the prompt delivery.
