I received this Bluestars washer drain pump well packaged in excellent condition. Out of the box excellent quality construction with a reinforced metal plate mount. My daughter told me her Maytag washing machine wasn't draining and there was a burning rubber smell. I told her to unplug the machine and I will fix it. I ordered this drain pump that matches the oem part# and a belt from Bluestars also matches oem part# with next day delivery. Quick easy to replace the pump & belt tilting the washing machine backwards to access underneath then grab the belt pulling out while rotating the transmission pulley to slide it off then off the pump and motor pulleys. Then remove the 3 5/16" head screws from the back access panel, remove the 2 hoses from the pump, and remove the 3 3/8" head screws from the pump mount. Reverse the process for installation on the drain pump then reverse the process for the belt wrapping around the pump and motor pulleys then slide it on the transmission pulley while rotating. Both fit perfect and her 20yr old Maytag washing machine is working properly again after $38 with tax cost for the pump & belt and around 30 minutes of my time to replace both. Highly recommended.

Very satisfied with the product as it fixed the problem of the washing machine at a fraction of the cost of replacing the whole washing machine. The old washing machine had the bearing retention ring issue (would slide down and rub on the housing of the drain pump, making noise and locking the rotation of the pump).

Perfect fit.Easy bolt in installation.Saved myself a bundle of cash just on this part alone.Retain the hose clamps from the damaged pump as you will need them during the new installation.Very good quality.

this product was an exact fit for my 17 year old Maytag Performa washer. The old one came out through an access door with only three screws and two hose clamps and the new part sat right in place of the old one! Replaced the screws and hoses and DONE! Hoping for 17 more years. All the local part dealers in town wanted $120.00 and up just for the part!!
