These eggs are a great find! I had picked up some plastic eggs from the dollar store, but these are WAY better in both quality and size. They’re not too big or too small—just right for stuffing with several pieces of candy, small treats, or toys. I added a pencil to the photo for scale. I also love that each egg has a small plastic tab to keep the halves together, making them super easy to assemble and reuse.

At $.36 cents a piece they are a bit on the pricey side as Easter eggs go, but the quality more than makes up for the high price. The plastic is thicker and of a much better quality than the eggs you would get at the stores that used to sell everything for a dollar. The hinges are a nice touch. They make it very easy to tell which tops go with which bottoms. While the hinges are not designed to be opened and closed an infinite number of times, they appear to be sufficiently robust to last through a dozen or so openings and closing. Very happy with these eggs. They will make distributing little Easter trinkets a breeze! Definite 5 stars.

I haven not even attempted to use half of these yet and more than half of the ones I have used snapped at the connection point immediately. I am not sure why the 2 pices need to be connected, but if they are going to be then they need to stay that way. Otherwise when that connection breaks, you are left with a sharp edge on both halves of the egg.I was incredibly disappointed with these because not only did they snap as described above, but the golden eggs were especially cheap looking. I purposely selected this set because of the golden eggs so this was another disappointment.The halves of the eggs seem to be fairly sturdy otherwise, so they would have been better off keeping them separated.

These eggs are sturdy, colorful and easy to open. They also stayed closed protecting the contents. They are a good size for either candy or small toys.

They’re good. At times a little flimsy to close but as far as Easter eggs go they did the job and stayed close for the Easter hunt max until the kids opened them. Colors were as seen - bright and consistent.

We filled these with little toys and candy for our Easter hunt this morning.They worked very well.

This is our first time hosting an easter egg hunt for our family, and we were looking for large eggs to fit small toys and candy. These eggs turned out to be the perfect size and have a great variety of bright colors. I like that this variety pack includes gold eggs we plan to use them to hide special surprises. The eggs are hinged and open and close with ease, unlike other eggs we have previously bought. I do wish the hinge was a little more sturdy, but overall, the plastic egg material feels strong enough that the eggs will last for next year.
