Buy one set of metal collar stays like these and you'll never need to replace them. The plastic stays just don't hold up. These were more than I needed, but a much better deal than sets with only 10 or 12 stays that only cost $1 or $2 less. If I lose any, I have enough as backups. Upgrade your image with a quality collar stay. It's the little things like this that make you look put-together. Sidebar: be sure and wear a white undershirt under your dress shirt as well.

The metal is light but strong. Fits great inside the collar with various sizes needed. Worth the buy for the price.

If you're deciding between these metal collar stays and the plastic versions, definitely go with the metal versions. Unlike the plastic versions offered by this same brand, these metal ones will will not bend or warp after several uses.Also, try not to worry too much about that California warning (known as the 'prop 65' warning). I thought I should mention this because I noticed several reviewers seemed genuinely shocked to find the warning on the product.Development of the law which lead to this common warning was defintiely started with good intentions. But its application has clearly gone overboard, leaving various manufactuers confused on how to test or label their products. To the point where most will slap the warning on EVERYTHING just to play it safe. This is why you'll see the warning on eveything from couches to crowbars at the local hardware store. (That's what happens when its easier to label a product then it is to reasonably test it for over 900 diferent possible chemicals.)

Really nice metal collar stays (I mean, how can you make a bad product if it is a flat piece of metal?Plenty of size ranges to choose from. The set I purchased was cheap enough to make it a bargain (18x 2.5", and 18x 2.75").For all you collar stay noobs out there (which includes me), 2.5 inches is the standard, but I felt the 2.75 inch stays fit my collar better. My shirt size is 15.5 collar, 32/33.

Solid product delivered at a fair price. I would consider this a "lifetime supply" for me, but if I do bend or lose some, I would purchase them again!

The finish on these work perfect for my dress shirts and I am very satisfied. They have no sharp edges and have a well rounded surface edge. They perfectly replace the plastic original collar stays and help my collars stay firm and straight. The assortment I ordered, the 2 1/4" and 2 1/2" lengths, 18 of each size fit my shirt sizes perfectly. It's easy to slide the old plastic ones out and insert the new stainless steel replacements. I don't wear the really large size collars so the 3" lengths were not for me. I highly recommend these collar stays and will buy more for my additional shirts.Update 11/14/2016I ordered a second set of 36 , 2 3/4" collar stays. I'm satisfied with the quality but don't understand why I can't leave separate feedback on that order. It forces me to leave the feedback on the one I left from a previous order. They didn't come in a sapphire colored box. It was clear plastic. Regardless, I appreciate the quality.

Nice, cleanly cut metal collar stays (these work great with magnets!) that are clean, have no sharp edges, and fit inside of shirt collars like a boss. My only complain, if you could call it that, is that they move around in the box quite a bit and get the sizes mixed up. It'd be nice if they each had their own separate compartment, but honestly... it's a minor point that I almost didn't even bring up.

These collar stays make an expensive shirt, look like an expensive shirt. These are slightly heavier than the brass collar stays I was using. Pair this with some super strong small magnets and these really improve the look of your collar whether you are wearing a tie or not. I have worn these with both a point and a spread collar, and the really improve the appearance of the collar. I have paid over $25 for collar stays at the shop where I buy shirts, and these are much better, cheaper, and you get more. I found these via a link from the website RealMenRealStyle. These turned out to be a great find.
