I was concerned at first about the size thinking that they were the size of a baseball. Actual size is more like 3 times the size of a moth ball. I can definitely see how the fragrance can be a repellant. Easy to place in the open mole holes where the pile of dirt is stacked the highest. So far so good ... no returning moles or voles. I thought the price point was a bit high for the size and simplicity of product but I guess if they keep the moles away all season then I guess they are worth it. Recommend wear gloves during application.

Active ingredients are simply Garlic and Peppermint.Inert Ingredients are Sodium Sulfate and Magnesium StearateSimply place the product in 'moles favorite spot' (yard, vegetable garden, etc) Per the instructions.Personally, I am going to place them in the mole holes, because if I just place them 'in the yard' our pup may think it is something they should be playing with. Although the box states it is safe for kids, pets and plants, it also states to keep out of reach of children and pets. I don't want to take any chances!Manufacturer is WZRY INC xxy.I have never heard of them.Their address is in Colorado Springs Colorado. They do include their full address and a phone number on their box, which to me displays a good degree of transparency. Kudos to them.

As you can see from the picture, there are mixed messages about whether or not this is safe for kids (see pic). The description on the Amazon listing says that it's safe for pets and kids so that's what I went with. But they definitely need to look at their box and correct the messaging. On the positive, in haven't seen any moles since putting these out.

Whew!! These are strong smelling…in a good deterrent type of way! Smells like moth balls at first, then I noticed the smell of lavender and peppermint. I appreciate that each one is individually wrapped, to preserve the scent.Love the quantity, plenty to go around!I have mole tracks in my Michigan yard already! I got out and placed these “pucks” every 4 to 6 ft in the tracks. It has only been a week and a half and I don’t see any new tracks. If I do see them pop up I will order more, I used ever last one in this box.

Moles have absolutely ravaged my yard this spring. I have a mole trap that spears them but I hate setting them and hate even more emptying them. Not to mention there must be must than one mole causing the damage in my yard. These are easy to place within the tunnels using a spade. They smell very much like a mothball. I love that they are an all natural deterrent as I have two dogs. Hopefully this will drive them out of the yard!

Bought a home in the country last fall and noticed some issues with moles. Wanted to get ahead of the situation this spring and did some research on natural and humane ways to keep them at bay. Most articles recommended something that would use a strong taste (castor/cayenne) or strong smells like this repellent (garlic and peppermint). As the ground reached full thaw, I watched for any signs of tunneling. So far there has only been one, but I immediately placed a few of the pellets in the tunnel as directed. I haven’t noticed any additional burrowing which could mean that the repellent is working as expected, or it could be that we are still a bit early in the spring and the moles are still deeper and awaiting the insect activity that is their food source. There is definitely a noticeable smell when you open the plastic packaging. I would recommend wearing disposable gloves when you are handling them. These are far from being the worst thing I have smelled, but it probably won’t have family and friends clamoring to be in your close proximity if this aroma is on your skin or clothing. So far, I am happy with the results but will come back to update this later if the results change.

I know how to do this and in One Night, the moles tossed them out onto the lawn and they just look like untouched ping pong balls. Weird. And, a waste of money. Poison worms or traps are much better.

I recently started using this mole and gopher repellent in my yard, and while it’s early days, I’m cautiously optimistic. The product claims to provide long-term protection for up to 60–90 days, and it’s reassuring to know that it’s safe for pets and children. The application was straightforward—just placed the repellent balls near the active tunnels as instructed. I haven’t noticed any new mole activity since, which is encouraging. However, as with many natural repellents, patience is key. It may take some time to see significant results, and reapplication might be necessary, especially after heavy rain.Overall, I’m pleased with the initial performance and will continue to monitor the situation. If it continues to deter the moles effectively, I’ll definitely consider purchasing it again.
