The teeth were not sharpened evenly out of the box and left consistent ridges/gouges on 6 slabs. The big advantage to ripping chains is how smooth the cut is compared to semi or full chisel. I always stick to Stihl, Oregon, Archer, and Forester bar/chains (depending on wood type/size) but always looking to give other chain/bar brands a try (hence why I don't use Stihl exclusively). The Woodland Pro chain was a disappointment. Maybe I was just lucky and got the one chain that slipped through quality control but I don't care to spend the extra cash to find out.Equipment I use (for context). Stihl 462 w/28, 36, 52 inch bars. 85% of what I do is slabbing with ripping chains for homeowners wanting to try working with live edge.

WARNING!!!DANGEROUS ISSUE WITH THIS CHAIN!I purchased this chain for my Stihl ms661. I put it on the bar and manually ran the chain around the bar once, no problem. I put the chain guard cover back on. Ready to run my saw. I double checked the chain, half a turn around the bar and it became jammed in the bar. The more I investigated the problem. I noticed I had ONE A3 5/8 link on what was to be a A1 3/8 36” ripping chain. The link was too big causing it to jam. Had I not noticed this before operating the saw this could have resulted in injury. Then to top it all off the company that’s sells these chains had absolutely terrible customer service. I finally received my chain after sending emails for almost 4 weeks. Terrible experience. I will finally get to use this chain soon. I will be sure to check back in if it does not go well.

Bought it with the Oregon bar. Fit perfectly. Haven’t used it yet so I don’t know how well it cuts.

These are great chains, I have many sizes and they take to sharpening very well...

When I received it. The box was open. The box had Ballpoint pen written all over it, saying what size it was, and was covered in fine sawdust. This was obviously used previously, and perhaps returned. It was also extremely dull!

Makes slabs on my Stihl MS 660 like a hot knife through sour cream.
